"Rose" in a Pearl Earring
Acrylic on Canvas 40cm x 30cm
This was done as a bit of fun, clearly based on the famous painting by Vermeer. I painted our dog Rose's head from photographs I had taken and then painted the clothing from a print of Vermeer's original.
